VALENTINA LUZI
Born in Teramo in 1986.
She started painting when she was a child.
Art is the only passion who never left her and she will never leave it.
Graduated in the classical high school of Teramo, in 2004, just eighteen
she moves to Rome,
In the new city she joins the artistical underground moviment and she
tries to outcrop between cultural associations and exhibition spaces.
She get noticed by an agent who helps her in some expositions.
But after some months the artist choose to go on alone.
Between 2004 and 2007 she graduates with highest marks in University design
“Istituto Quasar” in Rome, In the meantime she enrolls to “Studi storico-artistici”
in the University of Rome “La Sapienza.
Since 2007 from today she cooperates with many independent associationes, exposing her
works and managing artistical days.
First she focus her work on material art, creating very emotional and visually strong
paintings.
Searching an appropriated expressive style she discovers digital art and video art.
After many experimentations she can’t find the right way to express herself until she
conceives her first installations “Birth and Lock”.
In the first months of 2008 she finishes her book’s illustrations “Favole per il bimbo giallo”.
In December 2007 she launches her brand “Pappj’s House” on shirts, pins and bags.
Actually she’s working on an installation about five senses who resumes her conception of art
