Il Centro d’Arti Visive Area51 ed il MAUI - Museo delle Arti dell’Unità d’Italia,
con l’intento di favorire l’incontro tra i nuovi nomi dell’arte italiana ed il mondo del collezionismo, oltre che con il personale obbiettivo di ricercare nuove potenzialità creative su cui poter puntare anche per il futuro, organizza “Proposte per una collezione - percorsi di avvicinamento alla museo” prima edizione.
Tutto nasce per favorire anche chi non può promuoversi in contesti pubblici, perché non è sostenuto da gallerie, sponsor ed enti come i grandi nomi del mercato.
La mostra è aperta a tutti gli artisti italiani, anche residenti all’estero, ed a quelli stranieri residenti su tutto il territorio nazionale.
L’evento sarà ospitato dal complesso monumentale del Real Sito Belvedere di San Leucio (al di sopra della Reggia di Caserta), dal 24 aprile all’11 maggio 2008, “sfruttando” la vetrina offerta dall’evento Biennale delle Arti dell’Unità d’Italia.
La quota di iscrizione è di euro 120 escluso IVA
1. Per la sezione pittura, fotografia ed elaborazioni digitali statiche si può esporre una sola opera, di dimensione massima cm. h 120 x 100 fornite di una sola attaccaglia centrale.
2. Per le opere scultoree il formato è libero si può esporre una sola opera.
3. Per la sezione video arte la durata degli elaborati non deve superare i dieci minuti e si può esporre una sola opera.
Tale quota prevede l’esposizione dal 24 aprile all’11 maggio 2008.
A - Se selezionato come primo nella mia categoria riceverò:

3. Inserimento tra gli artisti promossi dal MAUI
4. Inserimento nel catalogo della biennale
5. Rimborso spese di iscrizione
B – Se segnalato come secondo o terzo di ogni categoria riceverò:

4. presenza nominale sul Catalogo
C - Se non rientrerò tra gli artisti segnalati riceverò:

Le spese A/R sono a carico dell’artista
Tutti i partecipanti saranno ricordati nominativamente sul catalogo della biennale (insieme ai grossi nomi) e sul sito internet. Inoltre riceveranno un attestato di partecipazione del museo MAUI e della Biennale.
Non ci sono tematiche, almeno per questa edizione, per non limitare gli artisti nella presentazione del loro personalissimo pensiero - opera d’arte.
E’ data, quindi, massima libertà di espressione a tutti indistintamente, ma le opere, anche quelle dalle tematiche più avanguardiste, non devono contenere argomenti discriminatori verso i popoli e le religioni.
Sono previste convenzioni con strutture ricettive casertane per l’intero periodo espositivo.

oppure ai curatori ed agli art promoter incaricati.

In virtù dell'enorme richiesta di creativi esteri, la segreteria della biennale apre una sezione dedicata anche agli artisti di altri Paesi.
PROPOSALS FOR A COLLECTION – Itineraries of approach to the museum
The Centre of Visual Arts Area51 and MAUI – Museum of Arts of Italy’s Unity,
with the intent to favour the meeting between the new Italian art’s names and the world of collections, as well as, with the personal purpose, research new creative potentials to put on, also for the future, organizes “Proposals for a collection – Itineraries of approach to the museum” first edition.
All is born to favour also who can’t promote themselves in public contexts, because they’re not supported by galleries, sponsors and organizations like the big names of market.
The event will be hosted by the monumental complex of Real Sito Belvedere of San Leucio (above the Caserta’s Royal Palace), from April 24th to May 11th 2008, “exploiting” the showcase offered by the event of Biennale of Arts of Italy’s Unity.
The amount of enrolment is € 120 – IVA excluding.
1. About painting, photography and static digital elaborations’ section you can show just 1 work, max dimension h 120x100 cm, provided of one central top dog.
2. About sculpture’s works, the format is free and you can show just 1 work.
3. About art videos’ section, the length of works mustn’t last more than 10 minutes and you can show just 1 opera.
This amount forecasts the exhibition from April 24th to May 11th 2008.
A – If I will be selected as first in my category, I receive:
1. Brochure
2. Insertion into the website
3. Insertion between the artists promoted by MAUI
4. Insertion into the biennal catalogue
5. Shipment costs’ refund.
B – If I will be selected as second or third of every category, I receive:
1. Brochure
2. Insertion into the website
3. Insertion between the artists promoted by MAUI
C – If I will not be discarded between the selected artists, I receive:
1. Brochure
2. Nominal presence on the website
2. Nominal presence on the catalogue
A/R costs are all-depending on the artist.
All of the participants will be mentioned on the biennial’s catalogue (with the big names) and on the website. In addition they will receive a participation attestation of MAUI museum and the Biennale.
There aren’t basic themes, at least for this edition, to let the artists express themselves about the presentation of their very personal thought – work of art.
So it’s given the maximum freedom of expression, to everyone indistinctly, but the works, even those ones that are characterized by the most “vanguardistic” basic theme, mustn’t contain discriminatory topics toward people and religions.
Conventions with casertan receptive structures are provided for the entire expositive period.
The artists who are interested in the exhibition can require the enrolment’s announcement to curatori@biennaleitalia.it, or to curators and promoters in charge.
