Leonardo Faillace was born in 1957 in Florida (Pcia. of Buenos Aires). He comes from artists' family, and was precisely with his godfather Rafael Angel Faillace, painter and serigrafista, with whom initiates his first steps in the drawing and the painting.
Leaned always for his family environment, he joins in 1977 the School of Fine Arts "P.Pueyrredón" where he dealed different disciplines under the guardianship of Jorge Tapia and Armando Donnini in painting and Beatriz Varela Freire in drawing, between(among) others. About 1979 he travels to Spain, Italy, France, England and Scotland, moved by the interest to know the great masters of the painting. He returns to Buenos Aires, and four years later he finishes his studies, where immediately he initiates a course of restoration of painting trestle.
Nowadays he deepens the "fantastic art" and in where he treats a painting of an invoice purified together with the technology of the "frottage" with patinas and lacquers. Simultaneously in the drawing, he combines the pastel and inks in the subject matter of the Tango, trying to heighten the sensuality and the movement of the above mentioned style, like this way also trying to interpret the gray melancholy of Buenos Aires. Leonardo was represented by Agora Gallery (USA) and now by Domiguez Art Gallery(Canada)
