Born 1949, The Netherlands Art Academy AKI, 1986-1990. Besides painting I started to focus more at making statues and founded an art-mediation agency. Thaught drawing and painting and workshops for sculpting and painting. Organise the exposition Beeldentuin Rosenhaege in Winterswijk, The Netherlands since 2002. Art for me is a necessity. It's a way of watching, living and experiencing, one more abstract then the other, in a style that resembles my paintings. Most of them are humen figures, in which emotion plays a major role. I want to give my work that extra something, not just a reflection of reality, but it has to transmit a feeling.
Italiano: Nata nel 1949 Paesi Bassi Scuola d’Arte Accademica AKI, 1986-1990. Oltre alla pittura, ho iniziato a dedicare sempre più tempo alla scultura ed ho creato un’agenzia di mediazione d’arte. Ho insegnato disegno e pittura e gestisco laboratori di scultura e pittura. Dal 2002 organizzo la mostra Beeldentuin Rosenhaege a Winterswijk, Paesi Bassi. www.rosenhaege.nl www.gerrigrijsen.nl L’arte è per me un bene di prima necessità. E’ il mio modo di osservare, vivere e sperimentare, sia con soggetti astratti che non, con uno stile che ricorda i miei dipinti. La maggior parte delle mie opere rappresentano figure umane, le cui emozioni giocano un ruolo chiave.
