I was born in Mozambique in 1973. I have been living in Portugal since I was three years old, in the city of Porto.
I started my degree by attending the 1st year of Portuguese and German Studies at the University of Minho but soon I realised that I was real interested in Art. I decided to leave the course of Languages and applied for a new degree in Visual Communication Design in the School of Art and Design.
For a year and a half I worked as a Graphic Designer and Drawer, but since 1999 I have been working as a Visual Arts teacher, combining this activity with Painting and Graphic Design.
"Painting is for me a state of the soul, another world that makes me see, that makes me feel tender and that makes me live. Figuration and abstraction are both present in my painting in search of beauty, of the sensuality of the naked and the purity of Being It is the sensuality that moves creation in all directions. Through Art I try that my vision creates an intense world inside the looks that will contemplate my paintings.”
