Adelle Jean is a disabled artist who lives and paints in an Adult Family Home in Ferndale, WA USA She is wheelchair bound and also, ironically, legally blind, though she is able through the help of a lighted magnifying lens to continue her painting. Adelle paints almost exclusively Judaic Folk Art. Whimsical and endearing scenes of both traditional and modern Jewish life. She likes to use bright, vivid colors and cheerful busy images. She likes to paint images that make people smile all the way inside. She also does commissions for Jewish Fundraisers, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, and other Simchas. Adelle welcomes comments on her artwork. Anywone interested in purchasing an original artwork or a print please contact her at her email address. Adelle Works in both Oil and Arcrylic and on many surfaces including wood, canvas, artboard, primped paper, clay, ceramic (non firing paints), fabric, and even a painting on a Bamboo Screen. Besides paintings she paints wooden clocks, wooden Havdalah Boxes, Jewelry boxes, keepsake boxes, Torah Boxes, wooden photo albums, trays, frames, and is always looking for new ways to express her creativity.
