Pittore scultore e designer di restyling, Gino Loperfido nel 1968 si iscrive alla scuola d’arte ornamentali S. Giacomo di Roma e su consiglio del prof. Sarra che già ne intravedeva le capacità artistiche segue oltre al corso di pittura anche quello di scultura conseguendo risultati inaspettati con la tela ma soprattutto con la materia.
Avendo deciso di abbandonare Roma e quanto artisticamente acquisito in questa città nel 1972 si trasferisce a Barcellona dove grazie all’amicizia di un fotografo catalano incontra nella sua casa di Figueras Salvador Dalí.
Nel 1974 ritorna in Italia ed espone con una personale presso la Galleria d’arte “ Il Trittico” di via Margutta a Roma.
Nel 1981 dopo una pausa artistica durata quasi dieci anni e su consiglio del giornalista di politica internazionale Ruggero Orlando (di cui è impresario) realizza un ritratto per Craxi, raffigurandolo in una “Triade” assieme a Nenni e Garibaldi (più sua figlia Stefania).
Nel 1998 apre il sito www.loperfido.it e contemporaneamente partecipa a numerose Mostre organizzate dalla galleria d’Arte Gildart International di cui è socio partecipante.
Nel '95 conosce il critico d’arte Vittorio Sgarbi al quale consegna una sua opera che lo raffigura assieme ad Abramo Orlandini in relazione alla trasmissione “Sgarbi quotidiani”
Il critico vedendo l’opera dice: “è una pittura inquietante quanto, se non oltre il tuo nome ”

Scultore painter and designer of restyling, Gino Loperfido in the 1968 enrolls itself to the art school ornaments them S. Giacomo of Rome, and on council of prof. the Sarra that already of it caught a glimpse the artistic abilities he follows beyond to the painting course also that one of sculpture achieving turns out to you unexpected above all with the burlap but with the matter. Having decided to abandon Rome and all the one which had artistic acquired in this city in the 1972 it transfers to Barcelona where thanks to the friendship of a Catalan photographer meet in its house of Figueras, Salvador Dalí. In 1974 it returns in Italy and it exposes near the Gallery of art "the Trittico" of via Margutta to Rome. In 1981 after an artistic pause duration nearly ten years, and on council of Ruggero journalist Bordering of which he is impresario, realizes ritratto for Craxi, representing it in one Triade together to Nenni and Garibaldi (more its Stefania daughter). In 1998 it opens the situated one www.loperfido.it and at the same time it participates to numerous organized collective from the gallery of Art Gildart International of which participant is enrolled like associate. In 1995 one knows the critic of art Vittorio Sgarbi to which the delivery its work, than it together represents it to Abramo Orlandini in relation to DAILY transmission "SGARBI". The critic seeing the work says: "alarming painting is one... how much, if not beyond your name". Its pictures are in the houses of the greater personalities of politics, the culture and the art like: The senator to life Giulio Andreotti; statesman Bettino Craxi; the critic of art Vittorio Sgarbi; actor Maximum Dapporto; the taylor of high fashion Litrico Angel; Ruggero Orlando journalist Bordering; the On. Renzo Eligio Filippi; the scultore Miguel Berrocal; the scrittore/autore Diego Cugia (author of programs RAI, which "Alcatraz", "Jack Crowd", "Zombie" and Apocalypse show with Giancarlo Funari); a its picture is exposed to the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Anticoli Corrado (RM); a picture has been donated to the Saint hospital Carl from Sezze, an other to the church of S.
