Rino Porrovecchio, been born on 2 november 1965 in Palermo where he lives and works. From 1997 he is enrolled at the directory of the journalists of Sicily and has founded and directed the magazine “il Melograno”, working with the daily newspaper “il Mediterraneo” and magazine as “Carini Oggi” and “Carta” (supplement of daily newspaper “il Manifesto”). Currently he writes for the newspaper "il Gazzettino fotografico". He loves artistic photography (UIF, ANAF and FIAF), has made some photographic exposures in Sicily and Italy. Engaged in the voluntary service against drugs and helping poor, road boys and young peoples in Aids. In poetry he has published “Fuoco di paglia", ed. Libroitaliano World, Ragusa, 2006 ( ISBN 88-7865-242-3 ). Other poetries has been published in some poetiche anthologies and literary newspapers.
