ANTAN TUTRA, born in the town of Durres,Albania,started to paint since when he was very young. In 1982, he graduated from JM School of Fine Arts in Tirana, Albania,where he learned the basis of reprentational arts: paintings,drawing,prospective and methodology of art. He continued his studies at the Academy of Arts,Tirana,from which he graduated in 1991. In 1991,hesettled in Italy,where he became the representative of Albanian art.He exhibits in solo and group shows in Italy,France,Albania,and the U.S. He currently lives and works in Somers Point,New Jersey. TUTRA says, The presentation of my paintings come from my human presence with nature,by interpreting my emotions towards it. I strive for a contemporary improvisational style.My strong emotions towards nature make me stop and analyze my thoughts. I search to uncover the light and values in their own forms by concentrating on holding the uniform and true identity of the objects, while always holding the perfect harmony of nature.
